My company is based in Lincoln, Ne which is Central time zone. I am in Virginia in the Eastern time zone. Do I regain hours at midnight ET or midnight CT?

Use your home terminal time zone for all logging.xlsdraw Thanks this.
-
If you're on elogs the Qualcomm will let you know how many hours you'll get back, that's how my company's system works
-
No you don't. You will always base your hours off of the time zone your company is based in. Basically, time zones do not effect your clock whatsoever.
-
Sounds like you are driving for Crete. Why dont you ask them?? I always log based upon where I live.
-
It is based on Home Terminal, not necessarily where the company headquarters is located.
-
Well home terminal is Florida, ET. But my Qualcomm didn't give me the hours til midnight CT. So I reckon Crete is basing it on the company headquarters in Lincoln CT. I did ask night time dispatch last night before posting this thread. I don't always trust the night staff so I was looking for confirmation.
-
It should be where your home terminal is, independent of where the company is headquartered if I'm not mistaken.
I. E. I'm on central due to my terminal, but if I lived in Atlanta and ran out of there, I'd be on eastern.
I could be wrong though. -
I think its based on what the company wants. I've worked at one that was based on central time at the home office and had to log that even tho my home terminal was in eastern time. Been at others that were vice versa. I always ask what time zone im supposed to use as was suggested earlier.

Your logs are based on your home terminal. So if company from ca but ur yard is in nj. You run off et time.
