Is the boat on a trailer? What are the dimensions such at length, width and height? Does the place that has the boat and the place the boat is going to have a dock? Will it be loaded/unloaded with a forklift?
my guess is that if it is legal dims, and there is not really any issues with loading or unloading, you should see a rate of about $2 mile on a commercial class 8 truck. -
SHC. those are all good questions, but i think i am just going to drive out there,$650 in gas round tripp and ill visit some cousins while i am there, thanks for the responses.

The problem with unfamiliar trailers.....when was the last time the wheel bearings were repacked and inspected? Do all the lights work? Is there insurance and good plates it?
Or put it on U-Ship and watch the show
passingthru69 and GITRDUN45 Thank this. -
If they ever pick it up or deliver it.GITRDUN45 Thanks this.

this aint u ship lol $2 plus a mile
-
Check into the U-ship. It cost little or nothing to post and you still get to decide who and how it gets hauled. Alot of less than full truck load stuff gets moved on there pretty cheap. Alot depends on loading needs and how quick you need it shipped.
I see cars get moved on there for just the cost of fuel one way. How, baffels me.
Regular trucking costs could get expensive if delivery to a residential. -
Put it on UShip. Maybe you'll get lucky and Roy will haul it for you.
Flightline and GITRDUN45 Thank this. -
Most older boat trailers were not designed for the freeway. Those little tires spin way to fast and come apart. Not to mention the wheel bearings. If you want to haul it I would look into a car tailer to put it on.
Need more information on the boat and trailer plus your tow vehicle.
