s' up everybody. renewed my lease this past wednesday. i got to olathe at 7:30, leasing opens at 8. I waited for Gail and then she sent an email over to the shop so they could do their inspection. didnt get into the shop until 3:20 pm and still had to go to the kenworth shop to get warranty work done, so wasnt finished until 1:04 am thursday morning. got that drive cam. it started recording when i backed out of the kw shop but hasnt recorded nothing since, at least i dont think it has. its been a steady green, despite driving over the rumble strip and backing under the trailer hard, slamming the kingpin(done on purpose, to see if would record)..oh well here in paducah at the pilot. gotta call road assist cause my truck isnt pulling at all, cant get the road speed over 25mph.

I am feeling a lot better now that I have blood flowing to and from my heart. Thank you for asking. I decided to drive yesterday morning to Rockwall. On US 19 an entire tree was blocking my lane (Ice brought it down) and on I 30 every bridge and over pass was complete ice. I had my first lesson in driving on ice that is.... should have stayed where I was at. I am going to OK City tomorrow then onto Holcomb KS with a final in Chicago. I have to try and salvage the rest of this week.HometimeQueen Thanks this.

Yes you are right. After my slidding expierence yesterday morning I decided to sit here in Rockwall. I wasn't scared but it sure got my attention. I'm glad I talked to other truck drivers out there and learned what to do when the drives kick out or when the trailer tries to come around on you. It was a very good learning expierence for me. I also learned to increase my following distance and to go slow but not to slow especially going up hill on the iced overpasses.

I know that's right. What is the deal with the fuel filters? I have to change mine around every 10,000 miles. That's crazy!! If the fuel is that dirty something's wrong.
-
my experience is some engines run better then others with dirty filters
I only changed my filters once other then at a pm
others seem to have more problems
just a lil bit of water kills them too
personally I added a lil howes all winter
buy it by the case at farm tractor supply 1/2 the cost of TSkirk Thanks this.
