Prime Drivers Queastion about Hernias

now you say save the email to your recruiter what if you talk to them about it on the phone like when you call and put in an app or if u put in a app online is there anywhere to right it on the app?

 

Hey eighthnote, how big is your scar? Are we talking artroscopic or lathroscopic or full on frankenscar? From your description it sounds easily spottable. I ,uh, know someone who had shoulder surgery previously and has apps in to a few companies right now.

I've had two hernia surgeries (1981 and 1995), an fractured foot (2001?), and a plateau fracture in my knee (2003), and I disclose all of that up front. When I had my DOT physical, the dr didn't even comment on them. Then again, none of them affect me at all (except the plateau fracture, which aches when the weather is changing).

I'm sure that if they have questions, getting your own doctor involved can help with the situation. I can't see why a company would reject for an old injury that's fully healed and causing no issues.

 

Does anyone know how I could contact a nurse giving the companies physical directly?

 

That would/will take some very serious coercion.

 

Arthroscopic. It's on the front of my left shoulder, about 1" long.
