Hi there, thanks for the post. I started this thread to help me figure out if there was any significant advantage to taking my next job with a carrier that uses paper logs. While the jack-offs and ego masturbators this subject attracted have been an amusing diversion to me the past 48 hours, the most salient variable remains unanswered: how do we log less miles than we drive?

Maybe the answer is: we can't anymore. It is an important question though and worth some research.

How about this: LEARN HOW TO WORK KID. If you can't do it the right way, then you don't know how to truck. 1 year? Ha ha ha. And you think you're gonna call us derogatory names??? Learn how to work kid. You can't make money? Then you ain't trucking son. You're merely holding that steering wheel. Let us know when you can truck. Cause you ain't there yet.

Oh by the way, if you have to ask how to go a little creative writing, then you're a lot worse off than I thought.

Waaaaaaaaaaaa ...what a crybaby. You don't know who you are talking to and these puffed up preachments you post just look shrill and silly. I've met dozens of people like you in the 2 years I've been doing this: ####y, socially inept loners lost in the echo-chamber of conceit and ego.

I don't know you. maybe your a good guy in some other regard - but in this paradigm you are just one more low self esteem whiner crying for attention.

My paychecks say otherwise. When your bank account can come close, talk to me.

Yep --even back in 85 within 1 week of going solo i realized i would have to show 1 hour at shippers/ receivers in order to drive and of course that was on paper. but i didn't have to use 2 log books.
So i dont know how the newbies that are saying or logging the day 100% as they do it, get anywhere or make any money.
