Hanging out at the yard until the snow quits up north. The trailer yard was a serious disaster last night... last straw was when some jerk dropped a loaded flatbed in the back alley blocking everything. Helped a young un' get out of a jam... 1" from the next trailer and sliding towards it every time he moved. Delivering in the KC area in the AM...

Split breaking at a pilot by the wv/oh border so they can get some salt on the roads and clear the snow off of em, only 300 miles out from my reciver so hopefully this passes by tonight and I can get outta here, roads are still passable they just don't have enough salt or plows out to keep em clear, of course it stopped snowing now

I got in around 2am, saw a mess so I got my washout and drove to the caves. Load wasn't ready but I dropped my trailer and slept in their lot.

woke up, break over, load ready. Hooked, scaled at terminal and boogied out of town so I could creep at a snails pace by the accident at MM149 on I-44. Westbound had it worse. They were at a standstill for over 5 miles.

one tractor and trailer was upright (maybe pulled back up?) however the entire cab had been ripped off the frame and laid over on the side. Looked like a chain reaction. 1st accident caused about 3-4 others within a half mile of the hill they were coming down. There were cars and trucks in between with the occupants just sitting there waiting for the mess to be cleaned up as they were not involved. There were at least 5 trucks either in the outside ditch or tangled in the gaurd wires in the median.

At my 90 beat all of the employes and had to wait outside the gate until secruity opened it up, no where to turn around except there yard, and not even going to try to back over a set of rr tracks and then onto a busy road with a steep ditch on both corners, now just waiting for the office to open

also the Louisville excel day cab guys are pricks, guy yelled at me for blocking the drive for 30 seconds so I could pop the seal and lock and open my doors, cause he couldn't get out, and he didn't have his daycab started or warmed up and took 5 minutes to leave after I had backed into the dock
