Did you check Careerbuilder and Indeed websites?
BekinsA1jobs hires class B, I believe; check the website.
Upgrade to Class A would be a good move.pattyj and DesertNightRider Thank this. -
I just started this account and I don't know how to "thank" yet so thanks chinatown.
And yes I check craigslist indeed and a lot more web pages all day and night. I am also making a list of all class b trucks I see around and calling to see if there are any openings. -
Careerbuilder is about the best website for local or regional jobs.
DesertNightRider Thanks this. -
ha-whoops.
Didn't read that OP had already gone to indeed and craigslist.
Good luck OP, you may need to upgrade to class A to go pay some dues with an OTR company to get a few stripes in the mileage department.DesertNightRider Thanks this. -
Check the "Trucking Jobs" thread on here also.
DesertNightRider Thanks this. -
local contacts, small world. ask drivers on their turf. most will talk and make sure they see you first. don't be the weirdo looking crackhead asking questions and not sincere about a job. immediately say you are a brother in the industry. ask the driver where you can apply at his company.
DesertNightRider Thanks this. -
do not ever get trapped into thinking OTR is the only way to get experience. class b can turn into a class a local company paid for. knock on doors and ask drivers near you DesertNightRider

Being in Albuquerque I'd suggest upgrading to a class a and apply at some of the food suppliers. Zanios Foods, Shamrock Foods and Sysco all have terminals in Albuquerque.
You could try getting on with Swift's regional Walmart fleet out of the Lost Loonies DC.DesertNightRider Thanks this. -
if you wait long enough. jb hunt might give you a call also. about every 6 months they call me and ask if i would be interested in a local job. moving furniture.
i have no idea why though. i've never applied with them. or even looked at careerbuilder.Shaggy and DesertNightRider Thank this.
