Been looking up places to stay in this area and wow it's steep. Extended stay hotels, apartments-ridiculous.
Anyone know of some affordable motels/hotels/apartments to stay at?

Supply and demand! There isn't anything anywhere there that is cheap! I tried to get in there and decided the additional money I was going to make would only pay for my keep! I decided that wasn't going to work. Good Luck.

I own mine. I just referenced that it was out of the park in cost in North Dakota. Just curious what the rates are down there for parking.

I have family that lives in midland and have been thinking a LOT about going to work in the oil fields and they say $450/month for a spot in a RV park with full hookup's and anywere from 550-1200+month for a 1bedroom apartment in the city limits I dont know what a 2bedroom+ costs as I'm single so its just me moving I would assume a 2bedroom would be atleast 1k+ a month for rent.
