Truck Owners ANGRY and Scared Over Fuel Costs

ah the h*ll with it I can be home in 4 hours I am going home turn this thing off and just sit I am tired of all this talk I am shut down as of 0800 tomorrow morning until further notice anyone want to join me??

 

Hell just go home for your time off and when it's time to go back out just park the truck on the side of the road with trike signs on it and go home. It's about awarness. There could be big gatherings at the capitals etc whatever but trucks parked everywhere would be greatvisual impact. then as other get home they can join as they can. doesn't have to be all at once. Building up to it would work and be percieved as less of a "holding us hostage" move.

we all could sit at home with the trucks parked, and in the end it would have no effect.

this is going to take visibility.

has to be n the street outside the capitol or a truckstop near a capitol city.

just my opinion, but sitting at the house with your feet up in the easy chair will have no effect.

Imagine, Barstow, ca. just out of reach of the LA valley, all their freight option sitting on the big hill but not coming down. taking the high road. that would get some attention.

imagine 10,000 trucks, sitting in the nevada desert,

hell find me a lake for my fishing rod, and a lawn chair and a busy interstate running by. ( i can think of one of those in texas)

live in the middle of wyoming, it would have no effect here, i would have to wait till near SLC or headed into CA this week.

Bonneville salt flats. 10,000 trucks all lined up. that would be a sight to see.


I bet we could even get President Obama to come give a speech.

Very good point MM. even in my small town of 1300 population, its a main route through here to montana, lots of local trucks here. as well. but exposure is exposure. for sure.

 

Actually I emailed his campaign too.

ad it would have an impact out there. the impact would be that you arn't out there hauling the freight when they are trying to shut it down
