Navajo Express went belly up

PJ has become a very polarizing topic

 

Not for REAL FEMALE trainees...

 

I believe a lot of it has to do with... when some new user comes on TTR and has an "interesting" story (ie. unusual, uncommon, or one that begs much further details),
some members put high levels of belief in the story, based solely on that 1 person's claim and "run with it", fully supporting the new user ....
... while other members (I fall into this category) typically need far more details, info, background, etc, etc, up to and including hearing the other party's side of the story, before ever putting full belief/support for that new user.

Each one of us has different levels of details or information that we require, before making any judgement. I know my levels are far different than Victor's, for example, just by past experience. My levels are likely to be much different than yours also. No matter how convincing 1 persons statements are,, I always try to wait until I hear the entire story of any incident, from start to finish, including hearing the other's side of the story, before making final judgement.

Some ppl don't feel this higher level of information is necessary, and in fact, see it solely (and mistakenly) as insulting or attacking the claimant, which it is NOT.
*Add/Edit: And by asking further questions darn sure ISN'T to be taken as throwing any support for the "other side" (Navajo Express).
In real life, sometimes it IS possible that both sides may have made major screwups, be it in actions, non-actions, verbal arguments, etc.
I must say, however, much of what Pj said was very convincing. But that in itself, does not justify 100% backing, at that point, without further info/details.

My views are much like Meltom stated in Post #27 (especially his last paragraph)... "Give me more details!"
In fact, give me ALL the details. Then I'll either be your most fierce supporter... or you got a lot of "splain'in" to do.

 

Understood from my pov, but something you need to remember: forum postings such as these are protected free speech, so a company (like Navawhore*) can't come in here waving a lawyer-on-a-leash demanding stuff be taken down, or suing posters for expressing their opinions.

The MODS, otoh, are the dictators of this asylum: they can take down or put up any DARNED** thing they want!!

So...... Bygones and all, if we truly believe that we as truckers*** need to do something collectively to get better pay and treatment, perhaps this particular incident (no Rosa Parks comments--they were old before they were posted) will serve to galvanize the drivers' portion of the industry, and allow us*** to be treated decently.

And no, "TEH GOOBERMINT GUNNA COMMUNIZE US WIT DERE UNIONS AN STUFF!!" That's the worst of the muckraked pablum that's been force-fed into our heads via Fox(not)News, et al: unions were actually originally AT ODDS with the "goobermint" when they first tried to organize--it took the Supreme Court and a few well-meaning and understanding Congressmen and Senators, along with a dose of Supreme Court, to make sure the American Grunt was protected from unfair and dangerous labor practices.

So, let's just keep this flowing... Perhaps there's a better forum for this, but it's gonna have to be at the top of the main forum page, so we see it EVERY DAY (hint-hint, mods). It's the only way it's gonna happen.

While there is such a thing as free speech , there is such a thing as responsible speech.

Slanderous speech ; if proven ; can be quite costly.

You simply cannot make false statements and accusations then run and hide behind a free speech banner.

Sometimes even speaking the truth can land you in hot water.. especially if it is not politically correct.

I dare say that there was never and never will be any kind of "press coverage" of this incident for the same reason.

It is all she said : they said stuff and the medias lawyers will not let them near it.

 

The first one was only up for less then a minute the second only for 25 seconds I timed it .

Samual is heading to that direction.
You wouldnt know this unless they told you or you were the same person they favored.
Let it be known this forum is owned by samual . Not by anyone else I certainly hope you understand that.
The ttr tos are their for a reason not for anyone to extend to their own opinion .
I encourage Samual to view my deleted posts here which were censored in less then a minute on both occasions and he can decide for himself whom is doing the trolling here obvious is obvious .

Honest question...

Since i started participating on this forum i have heard the term "troll" tossed around several times.

I really would like to know what folks are calling a troll.

 

People refer to a troll as whom intently stirs up nonsense in a manner of methods . How would you know anyone stated troll the comment was deleted with in a few seonds.
Trolls cry wolf they see things only mods could have . In general they are useless to any discussion .
Trolls counter the facts with their own take on things nothing being of the fact just their opinion . No research no common sense..
No morality . Trolls are here to whine and complain just as demonstrated .

 

So after all this, what happened with PJ? Just disappeared, never to be heard from again?
