If I ever get the chance to partake in a strike, I wouldn't think twice. I roll through Ohio wishing to find some trucks parked on the shoulder.

I think some of you are angry at the wrong people. Its not the publics fault fuel prices are so high. OOIDA president wrote an open letter to Bush asking him to do something to help the prices. We are competing with our own government in the oil market. Refineries cant get built. Theres alot going on. Its a broken system and it needs fixed. We need to align ALL truckers. Those who pay their own fuel bill and even those who dont, because their jobs could still be effected. Shutting down the roads would grab plenty of attention but it has more negative potential then good. Alot of people sadly, but simply dont care what a trucker goes through, pays for fuel or anything else for that matter. Its me me me. If truckers have a bad image now, wait till no one can go anywhere because of them. Drivers need to stop the CB/Internet rambo crap and step up. Join OOIDA, there is power in numbers. (no I am NOT advertising or affiliated whatsoever) Someone create another group. Start running adds, collecting funds, making things happen. Maybe someone with alot more intelligence then I have needs to figure out a way to create a network to buy fuel in bulk like the big companies do. Just because we drive a truck doesnt mean we are stupid. We can get together and fight for the cause. Talk about gaining the publics respect back. Lower their fuel prices, and our fuel prices, and still get their breakfast milk off our trucks.....
