First truck assignment at Central?

A lot depends on what is available... Sometimes they will have you 'recover' a truck. Other times there are brand spanking new trucks. We were able to 'trade' trucks when I joined my hubby on the road... He still moans about loosing his W9 (AKA: Bachelor Pad), but teaming there just wasn't the ROOM! Plus he wanted to keep 'Mama' happy

 

A W900 doesnt have room to team?

 

I'm sure it does, but I didn't like the narrow cab and wanted more storage area... We now have a condo cab Freightliner Cascadia... Have some alteration we would love to do after we purchase it... Next year

 

I received a 2013 Cascadia when I upgraded to solo. The guy I upgraded with? He got a 2012 Cascadia. I saw him a few weeks later at the Petro in York, NE and I definitely got the better of the two trucks. I've been told it depends on a variety of factors, however, truck availability is definitely the biggest one.

Bamamac, you don't choose your truck, it chooses you by the luck of the draw lol. I was just assigned a truck within the past week and have a 2012 Cascadia 9 speed. They don't own anything that is a "pile of junk" that I'm aware of.
