Actually I didn't, I'm just pointing out that while you are allowed PC thresholds can be put in place. All of this information is easily discovered in an audit. You can actually run a report that shows every incidence of PC by any (every) driver in the company. Then it's as simple as taking the GPS location of where your PC started and where it ended, compared to your arrival, loaded and empty calls and presto chango you're (you and your company) are nailed for log falsification. Likewise with moving from using the ACDS distance, or logging out and driving. That all populates on the Miles Without Hours reporting.
So while your company didn't catch you, you weren't actually "tricking" the people net. It was still tracking everything you've done. Even when drivers pull the fuse it records the mileage and location, when the fuse is plugged back in it will record the new mileage and location. So it's a pretty decent system. Most anything you do can be tracked, the question is, is your company quick enough to catch the anomalies? Will DOT catch you? If the very unlikely circumstance of an accident and subsequent trial will the lawyer catch you?

Make the fuel receipts match with the date. And make sure when you cross scales you write it somewhere so when you push your log book back....it doesn't say you were in the sleeper but the computer said you were crossing a border haha...

think about what I just said and playing cheater will be easy

The problem is that they(government and do gooders) are painting the entire trucking industry with a broad brush.
I now pull Hazmat tanker, we have PLENTY of time to get to our destination. But I also pulled a reefer mostly chicken to the west coast and produce back east, no way I could run with elogs, unless I wanted to buy the load. And think about a livestock hauler.
I would run until I got tired and would pull over and sleep if I slept 2 hours or 8 it was how I felt. I never ran multiple log books and never screwed around, I kept the left door shut and ran.
I did and do not need someone to tell me when to sleep or eat or drive, I'm an adult and can make my own decisions.

You answer your question by reading his 1st sentence.... Not everyone that runs 100 hrs will kill someone, that is his point. Just because one person did it doesn't mean we need to make a law, right?
