You only choose your own freight in the van division. Home time is your choice the more loads you choose the more you make, the more you choose to sit home the faster you starve. It is your choice.

Just curious - do they pay flat rate per mile, or percentage of load?

tanker is $1.15 now i think and 100% Fuel Surcharge. And van said % pay. I want tanker but its kind of irritating me because i need good enough hometime. like at least every other day be home but just for a 10 hr reset and im fine. all i need is 1 day off.

In the web site writing the new pay for tanker is 1.155 x mille but stared in March 2014 and i don know why the fuel surcharge is more cheap in the tanker division (today is 0.40 dry van vs 0.37 tanker) the said in tanker you running 2,500 milles x week that is true???

As was said, Van is the only one with Choice option. Loads pay 65%, with 100% surcharge. I've only been here a little bit, but I'm making good money so far. Making about $4000 gross this week and only ran about 2500 miles roughly.

So average rate per mile on percentage is $1.60 nice! Was that regional runs tho? Or long hauls?
