So I'm kinda curious about something. I'm currently a Choice IC, and have been reading about Military Apprenticeship Program that Schneider offers. I'm recently retired Army, and can't seem to find exact details on what the qualifications are. Any one have any ideas?

I cant say for sure , someone would have to verify , but I'm guessing with your experience and the employment status you have with SNI that you dont qualify? I think is geared toward new drivers.

Call them up and ask. They are a good group that handled the VA stuff. I don't know the number but your DBL would.

That was my thinking as well. I was previously a Schneider company driver back in 05, reenlisted in the Army, got out and now have my own truck. They didn't have this program when I first started, but I'm thinking I probably don't qualify now. Haven't talked to my ICR or ICA about it yet though.

Are you eligible for the Post 9-11 GI Bill? I think the part that would disqualify you would be the IC part. I'm not sure and the only reason I say that is that as an IC you are not actually considered a Schneider employee are you? I am getting it but am a company driver. Here is the gals email and phone # that is handling the military program. It was another girl but I guess she is on maternity leave, just found that out when I got an out of office reply from her.
