    My question is we have a smaller truck that I can do some short runs with. Can I use my MC# on that truck? If not what do I need to make it legal? There is not much going on right here next to the holidays but they are some good hot shot loads that are coming in. The loads thats coming in are intrastate in south carolina. I hate to just give good paying short loads away.

    Your MC number will cover all of your equipment. Just make sure that you are compliant with all the other regulations that would apply to that truck as well.

    Cool. That 3500 is a truck owned by the company I drive for. It has their DOT number on it. All the insurance is in line.
