Uncommon as in you need to be in one of the larger cities to run across it. Probably count em on two hands.

Yep. Save your receipts, get POs for what needs it, scan it in with your trips. Follow up by checking your settlements.

PM me your truck number? I'd like to actually meet you in person; you are the person who posts in my threads the most after all. :)

$30 is one of the lower lumper fees out there. Hubs has had to pay 10 times that to get a load off the trailer. (Not out of pocket, but if you are trying to unload at a very busy time for dispatch, it can take a while.)

It wasnt a lumper fee. It was a gate fee. Lumper fee is payed after you get to the dock.

Loves Newberry SC, when I drove in last night all the non parking spots at the entrance and exit and around building were all taken despite the truck parking area not even half full. I guess their are a lot of lazy drivers who cant be bothered walking a few extra steps !

Got about 100 miles from my shipper and then for some reason just got extremely tired, so found me a loves with a ton of parking and took my reset, since I have an open appointment window, still have plenty of time to grab this, swing through the terminal to get my permits, then swing back out and make my del on time...unless they find an issue with ze trailer
