Euro Truck Simulator 2 PC game screenshots. Free to play great fun for all ages!

Hey all I wanted to show off the PC game Euro Truck Simulator 2 to anyone who isn't familiar with it. We see so many racing car games (Forza, Grid, Grand Turismo, Need for Speed, etc.) but what about us that are also big fans of the big rigs? Before you could find B or C value titles in your local stores such as 18 Wheels of Steel but this ETS2 takes it to a whole new A+ game level!

You have all of your Euro big rig manufacturers such as Volvo, MAN, IVECO, Renault, Scania, DAF. You can addon Mercedes which is the only big brand not licensed. They are listed as "Majestic" trucks. There is a free Demo which is free to play until level 5! Then you can purchase the sim and I have gotten more than my money's worth. It has been a big help during my studies over the last couple of months. I just graduated from CTD at my local Technical College. It is also keeping me in practice until I start my new job next month! The scenery is incredible along with the rain/weather effects and the traffic is well done. The map runs from the UK you can run all over England all the way to Eastern Europe. I run the sim with the Thrustmaster T500RS wheel and pedal combo with the T8HRS gated H-shifter. You can run an automatic, an H-Pattern manual with splitter that requires using the clutch (great for practicing my double clutching) or the realistic and difficult Scania triple split! The force feedback is pretty good and all the free addons and great gameplay have made me a huge fan. No affiliation though!

That is a great website with many free mods. All you have to do is download a mod .rar or .zip file, open and extract the .scs file into your EuroTruckSimulator2/Mod folder! So easy! Enjoy!

Yeah man I hear ya! The 18WOS was ok for its time but man this takes it to a whole new level! The stock gearbox in ETS2 is a straight 12 which does ok with the more powerful trucks. Yet many of these modded downloaded trucks come with 10, 13 and even an 18 speed RoadRanger. Check out this vid of the 18 speed RoadRanger!

Also forgot to mention SCS Software just developed 18 WOS series for Valusoft who published and sold it. This ETS2 and the coming soon American Truck Simulator are produced and published by SCS and won't be branded 18WOS since Valusoft owns those copyrights. They are going all out for American Truck Simulator from what I have been reading! I can't wait.
