Hey Ace,
I got offers from both places, Calfrac to frac and Canyon for there Nitrogen dept. I wasnt fond of the HR Girl at Calfrac a little to young and not to bright. Both offer were about the same as yours were. I chose Canyon and am very happy, good bunch of guys and there growing exponentially, lots of room for movement so keep your head down and learn as much as you can. If your on the 15é6 your classified as full time an less chance of lay off. Not sure what HR lady your dealing with but she is great. If you have anymore questions PM me.

Yea the hr lady Julie from canyon was great really nice lady she's pretty much reason I took canyon over calfrac . And yes I'm 15/6 so that's good to know , I also had same experience with the calfrac hr girl I had few questions for her the day after my interview and couldn't even get hold of her which kind of put me off . But anyways canyon seems like great company from everyone spoke with an all seem like it so I'm glad went with them . Surprisingly I also applied to trican and sanjel ad not even a call back but for best probably anyways ..

Julie is good, Gina at Calfrac not so good. You start on Jan8th? Youll have 2 weeks of Greenhand school with Bob and Greg and driving with Sherwood who you took your driver evaluation with. Greenhand school a little bit to be desired thouhj so be patient, and just know you want to get out of it as soon as possible, 2 instructors 2 entirely different people. I can elaborate but only in private. Im back on shift starting Jan 1st.

Tried pm you freedom but wouldn't let me don't have enough posts yet , but yea any info can give me be great .

I sent one to you.....
-
Might be helpfull for other people if you can elaborate on What do you learn in green hand school?
-
Nate, cant really give pros and cons, not always positive. However once greenhand school is over thats when all the learning begins and fun happens. The learning curve is sharp. I found green hand school is generalized, not specific enough!!

Just got home the other day...3 weeks in GP running N2 for halliburton. Been hearing rumors of N2 plants not being able to keep up with demand. I know Air Liquide in Dawson shut the 2nd phase of their plant down. CanAir in sexsmith was running pretty hard. Been hauling out of Sherwood park and ft sask a few times.
Going to be a busy few months for n2 if they can keep getting product.
