I'm just putting out there what I would be interested in. I have a job now but thinking that since I am 60 now and already "Done all that" and semi retired that maybe I might be interested in driving a truck and finding what "I want" to do.

Your right I do love this site, I get a kick out of people like you. Thanks for all your knowledge......... You must be proud :)

    TruckDuo and dgman Thank this.

I just turned 60 this year, trust me I know work. You all don't understand what I am saying I guess. I am looking to get into trucking but dont want to do flat bed because I don't want to be out in the rain and cold working. I have worked out in the weather most of my life, now I don't have to. If there is a job I like I might be interested in it. I can take my time and try to find something I like instead of something I don't, for gods sake ease up a little , I am almost afraid to post anything on here , and thanks to all of you with good input.
Have a great day, I hope I don't get wet on the way home from work. Boohoo, whah, sniffle sniffle :)

Dennisroc, just ignore some of these guys. Unfortunately, you'll always have truckers with lousy attitudes in this business. I'll always take advice from someone who is successful in this industry no matter how old I get, or how much I think I know. I was told early on by my mentor (my uncle) don't work harder work smarter. That's why God gave you a brain. If you can find a job that matches what you're looking for, by all means go for it. LTL may be the best route for what you're looking for. I'm sure there's some good people on this forum who will give you some useful information. Be patient and keep trying. Good luck to you and Happy Holidays!

Not sure why but there's been a lot of cranky people on here during this holiday season. Instead of finding the good in people, some are looking for little things to blow up into a whole big thing and put a negative spin on it. Really a shame.

Only time success comes before work is inside the dictionary

A lot of promises but companies can't keep that. One way or another you'll end up at a dock

Yeah Big Red, I have just been on here a short time and really enjoy this site but as with other websites I have been on you always have a few odd balls.
There seems to be a lot of good people here with a lot of good info and I appreciate all the good info.
    Happy Holidays to you also.

    Big Red Pete Thanks this.

    Nothing wrong with his request.

Personally, I prefer 0% drop and hook.

I like keeping the same trailer.
