I have an offer from a major crude player........very tempting but trucking is trucking and tigers don't change their stripes......
He's offering .94 cents per bbl to pull it back 125 or so miles. I'm sure that will vary by lease too. Total pkg. will be 80k plus...plus bennies and it's a co. job.
What's your deal?? This sound correct?
Oh yeah, ND carriers looking for drivers on Houston CL...... says they will arrange man camp stay etc. ( not my deal, just sayin )
Tks...
Crude pay....

Any pay for waiting time to load/unload ?
-
Yes but I don't have those numbers. Training is $13.?? I don't know how much free time I have to give either. ( if any )
Cat sdp Thanks this. -
Is that in ND or TX? 80K sounds awful cheap for hauling crude in ND to me.
-
Tx..... new truck blah blah....and outstanding bennies and I mean outstanding. Pvt fleet quality never seen at a common carrier.
macmoran Thanks this. -
I'm not sure how that would play out. I currently get .50/mile + .23/barrel, The mileage is empty or full, and there is rejected load compensation as well as the mileage still.
I think I wouldn't like to get just bbl pay and no mileage. Do you get a reject fee at least?chalupa Thanks this. -
80k is cheap.. I gross close to 120k right now as a company driver home every night... and there are a few companies in williston that pay percentage. I know a few drivers that grossed 135 k last year.
chalupa Thanks this. -
ok, tks. i'll be home every night too. I'm told 100k is the top dollar. It's a 5/1 & 6/2 schedule on 70. I haven't decided yet either........
Appreciate it..... -
Mmmmm where is this company located?
