You know people are serious about flatbed when they want to get into it during the winter months.

Oh yeah! Can't wait. I'd rather run flatbed than reefer. Sitting for 36+ hrs in Dodge city or elsewhere waiting for a load and having to smell a Tyson or cargil plant sucks. As long as prime has apus I'm good. Lol.

How often do flatbeds go into Canada? I was told I need to get my passport and TWIC.

OK Well 20-25 a night might not be so bad. I'm a pretty light sleeper myself.

Yes the flatbeds are. The stepdeck trailers have a sliding rear axle so they can be run tandem.

    n3ss Thanks this.

Both Flatbedders that have trained me don't have a Passport or Hazmat and told me neither are worth the money or needed for what they do.

As for going Flatbed in the winter it's going to happen sometime (Winter) and I've learned a lot of secrets the easy way rather the the hard way. I figure if you can hang in there when everything is frozen and stiff Summer will be a cinch except for the Heat and Humidity, LOL.
