How often do you guys turn down loads?
I turned down my first load since I started there 4 months ago and they got pissed at me......They wanted me to deadhead from Philly to Virginia to pick up at Smithfield and I said I'd rather wait and see if I can get something out closer to me....So now I'll just hang out through the weekend and maybe leave on Monday or they might make me wait longer .....kinda works out nice......a real good Eagles-Dallas game on Sunday night.....and I'll be with family watching it....Hope all is having a nice Christmas..... -
I hardly ever turn down loads... But sometimes you've gotta do whatcha gotta do.. They got pissed at me because I had to goto the dentist last week and I didn't run back out right before Christmas...
-
They are really gonna be pissed at me, I have been sick sine Christmas. Had to go to emergency, and get treated for pneumonia. Probably won't be back till after New Year
-
That's not good... Get well soon man... My brother in-law was hospitalized for pneumonia a few weeks ago, turned out to be swine flu... He was put on a ventilator... He's still in the hospital but better... Be careful and I hope you feel better soon!

Hello to all, so I have read the whole thread took some time. Great info that yall provide. I missed it somewhere to what speed are the lease trucks set too?
-
When they were the old landspan trucks it was 65... I'm not sure about the new deal with arrow... My truck it set wide open but I hardly ever run faster then 60mph... We run heavy 90% of the time, gotta get fuel mileage to make it in this business!Panhandle flash Thanks this.
-
How many miles are you guys running with the pay per miles program.
-
id like to know as well.
-
I'm on percentage and I run the SE fleet... I average in the low side of the 2000's per week... Most of the NE and trop drivers I talk to average in the 3000 mpw range
