The last I heard was that the US was donating the state of California to Mexico therefor you wont have to worry about CARB anymore...

Works for me. It might as well be since these politicians only want tourism and drugs in the state.
Joetro Thanks this. -
There is plenty of freight elsewhere. No need for me to run Cali. I quit running Cali several months ago due to the low rates. And now my truck is not legal there.
So, enjoy all that freight out there. No need to thank me. Just don't overwork yourself. -
My brother got jerked around with the waffling from CA as the deadline approached. He decided to relocate to OKC and was crossing the boarder at 10 minutes to midnight on the 31st, getting a new gig running OKC regional. Between CA's shenanigans in the last couple of months and his old company's jerking his chain whether they would be able to renew his agreement he lost almost 2 months income. "To heck with it!", he said. Now he's starting with the lease with the new company on Monday.

Went to TA today and I'd guesstimate about 20% less trucks than usual, not as bad as I thought. I saw a few older trucks on the road as well but who knows if they qualified for the "small fleet program"

Put it on a train and ship it to NV or AZ..... The only thing that should be invested in is enough lawsuits that CARB gets put out of business.puncher Thanks this. -
A lot of freight sitting, not moving out, means freight not moving in, either, which serves them right. They can starve, for all I care. Piss on their strongarm tactics.SHO-TYME, x#1, HalpinUout and 2 others Thank this.

It's always slow at the beginning of the year. When I picked up today only one truck at the dock had a DPF. I think a lot of small fleets are going to abuse the low mileage provision.

Maybe when Cali. residents get tired of empty store shelves and wiping their hind end with their hand some of these Nazi regulations will end. Best of luck Californistan.SHO-TYME Thanks this.

Great dream----BUT we all know it aint gonna happen--to many sheep--been buyin into the nonsence for too long--they'll keep spendin money for nothing--and keep watchin rates--slide backwards--
On another note--now I know Im gettin old--everyone keeps refering to the petro as ol T/A east---and I still call it the old Orange Ball!--LMAOwore out and rocknroll81 Thank this.
