I could not last 3 weeks at this choice company. When I finished orientation they had no trucks. They brought in 16 experienced drivers and only had 4 trucks. They sent me on a day cab run to give some trucks back to dealership because of repo. And I was sent to recover more trucks for a total of 2000mi. Get back to terminal where they promised myself and other 2 drivers a truck on return. No truck still. So they sent me to get a truck from okc from dealership that should have never left. This Trk had no power steering, exhaust leak in Trk, my pressure gauges were on red constantly, and was leaking oil out of wheel hubs on drives. I call company tell run that there are dot problems with Trk. Since I was female they thought I was stupid they had me name problems. All they say was oh and routed me into yard. And on way to yard in traffic I lost complete brakes. I had to do some maneuvering to keep from hitting car in front of me. Then they get mad at me when I tell them that Trk was a piece of crap. I stayed on break down for a week. Now being in my 3rd week of employment I get my settlement statement and my check is a -214.69. This was final straw for me. wed night I started putting in new applications. I got a confirmed bus ticket on Thursday. By the time I finished with payroll they owed me 1821.34 in back pay, 2 Trk recovery, miles, break down. My uncle and his wife came up to terminal I clean that Trk out. But before my uncle made it shop told me my Trk was finished. It still had no power steering it was better but not correct, it had major oil leak when I put it in shop it had none, 3 lights were on when none was on before, and it still had exhaust leak. They tried to convinced me to stay and I give them reason I couldn't stay. The main reason was my neg pay check I was a company driver not a o/o and I didn't get no advances. before I left they told me I could come back if I wanted to anytime . They no I was a good/maybe crazy driver for driving a Trk with no power steering. The director of operations said I could come back because he saw everything I went thru in 3wks time he said they dropped ball on me bad and they were shame. I tried to stay but that was just not a good fit for me. I stayed broke down for as long as I was with the company . The next company say they are not gone frown on my 3wk mistake
I could not last 3 weeks

What is with all you people that willingly drive horrendously unsafe and defective equipment??
OP states about the truck she drove from OKC:Then she further states:I really have no sympathy for any driver that drives such unsafe equipment with numerous serious safety defects.
Are you not a professional who cares about your own life as well as the fellow motorists on the road?
If you don't operate as a professional, how can you expect ANY company to treat you as one?Dark_Majesty_06, Ed G, Cetane+ and 12 others Thank this.
