You mean not counting when I almost got in a CR England truck by mistake?
Boardhauler, blairandgretchen, Dinomite and 4 others Thank this. -
Having the pitman arm break, bouncing off another truck going the wrong way and ending up on my side. You have no steering when the arm on the steering gear box breaks.
ziggity, KW Cajun, blairandgretchen and 1 other person Thank this. -
That was after 2 million plus miles, 10 years with the same company no lates or safety write ups. Does not matter your still down the road. They claim you should have caught the metal fatigue in the output shaft so its your fault. Destroys your career in a blink of an eye. Always cover your ###.
NavigatorWife and ziggity Thank this. -
Seeing headlight coming at me going north on I-39 just north of Bloominton IL. Drunk going south on northbound side. Thought he was on frontage road. Missed me, and pulled to shoulder, saw him do a u turn and go up ramp.

3 years ago on New years. About 1:00am, drunk driver going wrong way on I-80 in Nevada. Do I need to say more?
NavigatorWife and ziggity Thank this. -
With mine & the two prior DUI wrong ways posted, that makes it a trifecta.
DUI in a large SUV, wrong way on IL I-80 (W/B in E/B lanes) about 2:30 am, doing in excess of 80 mph.
Aimed straight at me at last moments, I luckily evaded by taking the shoulder.
**But I'll take that, any day, over loosing a pitman arm, as in Powder Joints post.
Nothing worse than having 0 control.Last edited: Jan 7, 2014

Any time I see flashing red and blue lights or a lady in a wedding dress chasing me!

I got hit by straight line winds on US70 in Texas. I had just looked at my GPS and saw something streak across my windshield, I looked up and I'm in the oncoming lane with car lights headed at me. I gENTLY tried to steer back into my lane. Well my trailer was still sailing left and Jack knifed doing 2 donuts on a 2 lane before hitting the ditch. Probably only thing kept it up was it buried my tractor tires in the mud. I was more scared I was going to hit the car. It's a little scary being in a tilt a whirl and it's pitch black outside.

LOL! @jokinggypsy!
NavigatorWife and sexysenior Thank this.
