You do realize that major world wars have been started over less offensive statements than this, right?
Seriously though, I try to eat in the truck as much as possible also. I had an inverter/microwave combo in the last truck but decided to not use them when I switched trucks recently, so I bought a lunch box cooker. Only had it a week or so now, but liking it so far and it takes up much less room. I also use a 12 volt Coleman cooler, which I have at the house with me now (replaced the fans yesterday). We will see how this combo works out.
I just feel like I can get a much healthier meal in the truck as opposed to a truck stop. I will, however, tear into a Subway sandwich without thinking twice (when I can find a Subway).

I'm guessing they have to make up for the triple reward points I have been getting, $22.= 2 fuel stops about 350 gallons. but that includes a $10 bonus for reaching 300 gal. -

You should see the plastic bags the soup comes out of at panera bread. Same kind of soup that's in the pot at the truck stops. -
On the bright side they are tiny, which limits the damage.joseph1135 Thanks this.

By making most of my meals in the truck (Not all, I splurge once in a while) I save on average $20 a day. Multiplied by an average 5.5 days a week X 50 weeks a year equals about $4500.00 per year. I eat a better, more nutritious meal and save money too. You bet we work hard, even more of a reason to save money to get to retirement a few years faster or have more cash in the IRA when I do get there. All depends on your priorities, different stroke for different folks.
