I fueled in Gary this morning too. You're right it seemed like the whole fleet was there. And nobody was moving very fast.

 

Finally home. Didn't think I'd ever get out of Gary. Everybody is grumpy, especially maintenance. Good luck whoever has to go there anytime soon.

Just stopping for my 3 hour vehicle check at the Hinsdale oasis.

 

As it turned out, I was one of the lucky ones that got in, fueled, and made it out in about 20 minutes. Of course, that doesn't count the time from I-80 and back.

After fridged temps this above freezing thing I like. Scraped the built up ice off the driveway. Got some other projects done.

 

912 closed north, no warning, no detour...official word...exit burr north to 15th...LMAO. easy run just be careful with the turn onto 15th. 912south prolly not much fun for the unprepared driver.

 

Wow! Maybe a sink hole finally consumed the intersection of Cline & 15th.
