This individual never went to prison, so that isn't a issue here. I just need to find somewhere that gives people second chances.

Just because they didn't see a day behind bars doesn't mean the conviction doesn't matter. If it was a drug felony, they'll never get a job driving a truck.

Sorry, sport - but the last thing this industry needs in it are more "felons" - (along with the assorted gaggle of child rapists, child molesters, murderers, psychopaths, thugs, perverts, deviants, petty criminals and mentally-ill clowns that are already infesting this business....)

All for them starting a new life - yadda yadda - but not in my backyard, thanks.

Paschall Truck Lines (PTL) ... just hired me for their orientation beginning on the 27th of this month. I have 3 felonies that occurred in 1995, 1997, 1998.

    1.) Robbery 2nd Degree
    2.) Escape 2nd Degree
    3.) Promoting Dangerous Contraband

These incidents happened starting when I was 17 years old, I was convicted in 1999 for the very last time and consequently, served 6 years in prison as a result. Got out in 2003 with no parole or probation and haven't had any criminal felonies since. However, in 2004, I did receive a DUI in Tennessee ... 1st and only one! Luckily, because of time since these issues, PTL is giving me an opportunity.

I would still be searching for more companies to broaden your choices as there are so many different trucking companies out there. Good Luck!

I'd be willing to bet it's just by the grace of God you are not a felon yourself. All people with a record aren't bad and clearly at least some of them are smarter and more competent than you appear to be.

Please explain that one.......when a person makes the conscious decision/choice to commit a felony they know it.......How would you be able to assume that VolvoVNLTrucker would make such a choice.

Probably depends on what the felony was for. I trained with a felon at Prime.

The worst that can happen is a company will say no. Apply to all the usual suspects.

    Prime has always hired felons,

there's a driving job for you out there.

Have you or VovoVNLTrucker ever falsified a driver's daily log?

And why do you assume a person who commits a felony consciously chooses to do so?
