Judging by the tone of your posts, I am willing to bet you hate yourself - as well as life.... Good luck with that sport.

Wow. Another mental midget spews and sputters crap in 25-line tirade but still manages to say absolutely squat..... Too funny! If you geniuses bothered to actually read substantially into what a person authors before flapping your toothless hillbilly dork-holsters, you might actually discover that this particular poster (myself) never said one word about "hating" JCT. Quite the contrary. I've met both Danny and John, and discussed (with one more than the other) and at some length - their business model and subsequent progression of that same model as it pertained to my particular niche (independent owner-operator) True, I didn't particularly care for their brand of corporate culture (which relies on a recurring low-to-moderately educated - unemployed and ill-informed driver pool to action their baseline...) or their not-so-discreet intermingling of their personal lives and fortunes in the corporate domain.
That said, our corporate association in a business partnership with JCT turned out to be a non-starter. Why? Not because of an under abundance of miles, nor was it mediocre dispatching and planning structure (although those issues factored into the decision to move elsewhere) It was ultimately because JCT's lease-purchase structure does not mesh well with independents with their own business model. And uncharacteristically, my accountant and I chose to forgo the usual preliminaries in choosing a carrier in place of expediency. Not that I'd expect any of you that crawled out from your individual hovels (notably your mother's basements) to understand that concept in any detail, so I'll make it "simple" for you "simpletons" - JCT - or for that matter - ANY carrier - that offers leases - does not pay enough per mile to justify and therefore balance the operations/maintenance/lifestyle trifecta...
The lease-purchase scam that these carriers conduct (under the guise of pure legitimacy, bien sur..) is a psychological ruse mastered over years of application and foisted unwittingly and with surgical precision upon the ignorant, uninformed and desperate. So before you start slinging insults which contain the terms "has-been" and "unsuccessful" - take a good hard look back at your own meager existences and see just how many times you've been a "has-been" or "unsuccessful" - more times that not, I'd bet a hat....
Oh, and by the way: You're welcome.
(A parting thought: I'd brush up on sentence structure and basic grammar if I were you - communication is the essence of any business endeavor and authoring a piece that makes potential employers and customers think you just "short-bussed" in without your football helmet is very telling indeed...and try to refrain from using the word "Dude" - you aren't 12 years old anymore....)Last edited: Jan 15, 2014
