If you're going to run out of the Newark terminal you should get home most weekends.
Just be prepared to stay out during the week.
It's a trade off, just make sure you tell them regional! Not system.
Even though some system runs pay well. -
I typically do my reset on Saturday and work on Sunday. Albany isn't an "out all week" kind of gig, and since I've been doing doubles, I'm home quite a bit. Today, I'm doing an outbound to Jersey, picking up wheat and delivering to Easton in the morning, and then back to Jersey and back up here. Sunday, I'll probably do doubles.
We've been comfortably steady, and a couple of the guys are out tending to medical issues, so I haven't ventured out West this winter yet. I have done the occasional Kenosha, Wi turn out of here - that's a 3 day hop.RookieJ1987 Thanks this. -
Hey as u try to debunk everything said here that dosent match your opinion. Well FYI, I know drivers who like working at CR England. So maybe your experience dosent speak for all? Now does it. See how silly it is to try and make someone sound like a liar just because you dont agree with what they are saying. I will give you credit you do have a very good way of insulting someone and trying to make it sound like just an innocent comment. Sounds like a good management trait because most drivers get straight to the point and dont try to be so "from behind." Good technique though, however just like Hogboy/Dougals you are assuming drivers are not able to read between the lines. So please next time you want to try and discredit someone, just do us all a favor and cut to the chase.

I know this guy smooth shifter sure knows how to insult people without them even see it coming. I must say I dont think I have ever heard a driver talk like this before. Hell its work you dont have to droll all over the company you LOVE so much but when your management it makes recruiting suckers so much easier. Oh did I say management I meant ....

I know if it were me and some driver said he is happy driving for C R England
I wouldn't find any credibility in anything else he might say
other then that i have no dog in the fight..............carry on
Chinatown Thanks this. -
There goes Joe again..everyone is a manager or recruiter.
Let it go Joe..we get it..you don't like Foodliner.
As for me being hogboy..nope..I don't even work there anymore.
I moved on..you should try to do the same.
I don't think you're a liar Joe..you had a bad experience..it happens.
But camping out in the FL thread makes you look like bad and paranoid with your rants. -
Well what happened at LaLa land? You quit? I'm shocked! Welcome away from that dirty bunch. I'm going to miss you darn. We really should try to meet up for a cup of coffee sometime, my treat to show you bottom line is we may not see eye to eye but we are still drivers and its ok to disagree, makes life more interesting. You'll see Im not as bad as u have me pictured to be, just feakin bullheaded.Last edited: Jul 21, 2014
Dogals right foot Thanks this. -
Hey Driverjoe, I've been quiet for a while but just letting you know I'm still out here listening to everyone - I haven't changed my name, no reason to.
driverjoe Thanks this. -
Thanks Joe I'll take you up on it sometime.
As for FL..things changed so I checked out.
I don't really have anything bad to say about them..other than communication between dispatch and managers.
But it's all behind me now.
Off to better things..CHEERS!driverjoe Thanks this.
