Hey everyone, I was referred here from Reddit.com/r/Trucking. I'm looking to get a trucking job! I live in Florida currently but I am looking to move in the next few months. I'm on the forums to find where the best schools and best companies are. I have a very good driving record but no CDL yet. Any tips or advice on the forum is much appreciated.

Howdy. My name is Brad. I'm here to learn, about the trucking industry. I do not drive a semi. Yet I had many family members that do/did. My grandfather retired from trucking in 1997, after 40+ years on the road. I joined this forum as a learning experience. To read first hand accounts of the dos, and don'ts etc. glad to be on board.

You can make some good money pulling tankers or flatbeds. Several companies will hire you right out of CDL school. Look for CDL schools that are at least 160 hrs. and you will be ok.
