I was there for 10 hours but I won't get detention... I was early, they did put me in a door right away, so I just went to bed... Actually worked out perfect, I'm down at Winn Dixie in Miami delivering it now...

 

You get to sit in front of your dm til they get you loaded

That always worked for me.....50% of the time.

I'm waiting also....delivered at 5 am .....they just called and asked me to deadhead to Atlanta. I asked what it pays and they came back with $129....
I turned it down......
Sorry folks....but I don't work for free!! I would rather sit....

 

When they ask me to DH to Atlanta, I tell them to pay the full DH and I make sure they put a good load on me right away... They try and get you to run up there and then they want you to sit until they find something...

Hey drivers do we really have to do freight count an all that stuff is that at certain customers? Thanks for any info as far as shipping and receiveing goes since this is all new to me, an I know you guys already know how things work.
