That is amazing to me. I had no idea that the Evolutions (or any truck) were getting 9 - 10 mpg.
-
OMG you guys don't really believe that do you ? There is never a time where the #$%! is not deeper than at a stock holder meeting. IF that was the case every tooth pick holder could afford to have a new one. We run with 50 other guys and they are getting 6-7 with medium weight with their new Paccar's in aero dynamic Petes. Just not buying it. Priced a new ProStar and the dealer told me the same 6-7.

Please note that "Big Bad Bill and wichris" are frauds... Both of them had their dot authorities revoked. It is public record.
-
Calling BS on that one. I run under Bill's numbers as do many others.BigBadBill Thanks this.

Well, I have not seen data on the Paccar's. But considering that '08/'09 everything gets better than that it sounds to me like they have a real issue with those trucks.
And when have you ever heard of two companies holding a joint stock holder meeting? This was actually blind data presented to analysts looking to make informed decisions on investing. Nothing to do with selling a company or a product. Just pure data.
These are the types of calls and the data that I want to hear and see. Word from the street is interesting but I am finding more and more that in trucking what is common knowledge often doesn't match with the real world. -
Back again? Why don't you show me where any company I've had that was ever revoked?BigBadBill Thanks this.
-
Ignore the troll. Even if your authority had been revoked, that data point is meaningless without context. Mine got revoked due to Progressive dropping the ball on an updated insurance filing when I changed business form from a partnership to a c-corp. Insurance coverage was never interrupted. It's not entirely Progressive's fault either. The FMCSA process on that transaction is far from transparent.Cetane+ and BigBadBill Thank this.

55 cpm for fuel is 3.75 per gallon or so, right? Where's the fuel surcharge? With my company, I get fuel at 1.99 a gallon. It's taken out of our settlements weekly, so it's no work for me and no waiting. But I really have no clue about how that stacks up with other folks and their fuel surcharges, and how and when they get it. How big are your fuel surcharges?
I don't want to hijack the conversation or anything, I'm just curious about other people's companies and their work and finances and such. -
fortycalglock do you mind if I message you? I wanted to ask a few questions about intrastate Florida..just dont want to divert the thread to a new subject.. Thanks
