Sure are a lot of holier than thous here - no wonder newbies don't ask for help or advice here. I sure as hell wouldn't if I were in their shoes.

LOL There is no middle ground in here -50% cheer on the company no matter what, 50% cheer on the driver no matter what!
We need more videos and pics when posting a thread like this and a point system like the Olympics! LOL

    Skydivedavec Thanks this.

So I suppose, according to you, 100% of everyone that replies should sugar-coat everything, even if they see that some likely mistakes were made.
If I make mistakes, I'm man enough to want someone to tell me exactly where I went wrong. I don't want sugar-coating. I want to know the honest to God's truth, so I can learn from my mistakes,, not be pampered & BS'd into thinking I did no wrong, which will only keep me in the dark and keep making the same mistakes.
If any poster can't handle the truth, and doesn't want the honest truth, and wants to be patted on the back regardless, I'd say they're in the wrong occupation.
Sorry, but it seems too many newbies now require "the pampered approach" and a follow-up "therapist" anytime someone corrects them. Sheesh.

oney, you posted on your thread with hoards of serious safety issues, and even asked if you should change employers. If you think honest responses were "the third degree", then re-read me above response to Oil Jockey.

Actually I think he was addressing the name calling and shaming that went on in this thread, there's no need for any of that while teaching.

Oil Jockey and Chewy352 Thank this.

Thx Truckon. The thread is long. I "though" I kept up with most of the posts, however if I missed namecalling and shaming, then I'm also 100% against any of that malarky. No need for that at all. We all make mistakes,, all of us, including myself. I thought he was referring to the ones, as myself, who pointed out some better choices to be made.
Again, if I misinterpreted who it was directed at, I apologize.

You just described the way I try answer any post that deals with something like this thread...Newbies come on here looking for someone to pat them on the rear and tell them... "don't worry it's alright" , Just like the schools are trying to "teach our kids...there ARE WINNERS AND LOSERS....only thing is once you get to this level the losers often DIE...I'm not too concerned whether or not a rookie or even an experienced driver "likes" me... all this sugar-coating does is increase the problem....the truth hurts...just like the OP found out...if you don't care to hear it ..then go somewhere else and have your little pity-party....I'm not having it......

KW Cajun - read this again and know what I posted. One can teach without name calling or derogatory posts. Part of the problems that the industry faces is image, and it doesn't help to disparage the newbies when a bit of advice and teaching will work better........... right?

I read it quite completely the first time. No need to read it again. I do agree with the general statement.
I will also say my posts fully complied with "...when a bit of advice and teaching will work better". I also know I'm not guilty of any name calling or derogatory posts.
But if you see different with my postings, please show me specifically where I did so.

Realize that sometimes when some of us dispute an action an OP used, and that person doesn't accept one's advice or fails to see the mistake on some aspects, then the replies will get much less "sugarcoating".
