I assume its a nice base station, early last year I hear him key up and had the whine/feedback of an older base... I'm guessing he got the whine fixed, or upgraded?

I first have to be sure of the location, and second I believe in always confronting someone in person, I'm goofy like that. If that doesn't cure his malfunction, he will need eyes out the back of his head 24/7... and thats a miserable life.

Starting next week, got all the free time I need day or night to locate him.

    Bingo.

Mad Dog, I wasn't offered this when I became licensed either.

As long as the SWR is low, I don't think you'll have to worry about a heat issue....not unless you're running power....and then that's where a fan comes into play.

You got his address, now call the utillity companies and have his utilities tuned off, "I'm going on vacation for X weeks"

Since my last post, I've not heard his broadcast... I can only assume he reads threads here or has friends here, either way I do appreciate him turning it off. Its helped greatly in getting traffic/bear/scale reports since everyone didn't have to turn their radio off, and I'm sure emergency responders do too.
    Be well, Mr. Wolf Rd.:smt023
