Wanted holset hx52 11cm exhaust housing

lol I'm shooting for 500whp so it should hold up fine I think.
..but I absolutely need that 11cm² housing! where could I get one?

 

Have you checked Goldfarb & Associates? goldfarbinc.com You can also do a search for salvage yards. The local one around here is Dale's in Cedarville, Ohio

 

Yep already called Goldfarb & Associates and no 11cm, only 16cm. I'll try to call Dale's truck parts! Thanks KeithT

Is there a specific reason you are hung up on finding a 11cm housing vs the 16cm housing? Is 500whp your initial goal with room to grow?

 

The reason why I want the 11cm housing is spool time. 16cm housing will be way too laggy for what I want to do with the car but will be capable of 600whp+ on the 16v head. My goal is 500whp on 91 with stock cams on the 16v, no need for room to grow and max boost around 25psi or so. Should see full boost at about 4k with the 11cm housing. Should be doable?!

 

Or you could do what I'm doing with my 20v 5 cyl Audi. Hy35 9cm! On the exhaust side with a billet 40 wheel it will get close to 600. Might have a bit of traction issue in the Volvo though. Lol

 

Really? I currently have a he351cw (60/60/9) which has the same compressor Wheel as the 7 blade 60mm hx40. ..but I doubt I will make 500 at the wheels!? How do you like your hy35 on your 20v 5cyl? Seems like a cool set up! Is your 9cm housing ported?
Oh and yeah I'm aware of traction issue. lol

 

Not gonna see 600 wheel with a 40 cold side and the 9cm hot housing would limit it anyway. I don't have my car finished but I drove one with a stock hy35 and it was crazy. Peak hp on his setup is something like 375 wheel but the torque band is just crazy. Spooling 24psi at 2800. 4 wheel dry donuts are as easy as flicking the wheel in 2nd and standing on the right pedal. My car has steel rods, ported head, o/s valves, custom intake and exh mani. I'm looking for about 500 wheel.
