he should tell them to kiss his ###.. and eitehr get him home or to the yard to have there truck.. no reason to put up with tht crap from any company.. i run otr.. i am home every weekend but one a month.. theres now reason anyone should be out tht long in a truck for anyone unless u wnat to be..

like the other guy said if your husband really has a year of ex he should esily be able to find a local job im guessing you live close to morton like peoria there are plenty of jobs down their.

Maybe they're testing him to see what he will put up with/tolerate,seeing as it's his 1st time out for them?? I wouldn't put it past his dispatcher to see what he can and can't get away with...

 

I worked for these crooks right out of trucking school. They got us home each week, but my pay was short each week and they only pay $200/week while training and then they wind up keeping half of that each time. I couldnt afford to be out on the road. They are definitely a very crooked company to work for. Your husband needs to find a new employer because star is rotten to the bone.

 

I do belive swift bought out star, last time I went thru Morton ill all I seen in there yard was a bunch of brand new swift kenworths.

 

Swift is leasing trucks to Star. Star is like DSW now. The owner of Star still owns the company, but all the trucks are leased on to swift.
