Truck driving is the wrong profession for IBS. Poor diet, not enough exercise, no way to clean up after a 'spill'.

I think you are joking :)

Some drivers have an emergency plan in place & it's a good idea; a 5 gallon plastic bucket and large plastic garbage bag as a liner. Easy to dispose of later.

Dont know what happened. One day, I was fine. Well, the 5 gallon bucket hadn't had much use in a few years, and so I had tools and spare lights and whatnot in it. I took ill suddenly this past Sunday. Walked into the truckstop, got a couple sandwiches, a box of saltines, and a bottle of the pink stuff.

Woke up 5 am and suddenly, I realized that I was a looooooooooooooooooong way from the truckstop. Dumped the tools on the floor, put the tall kitchen bag in the bucket, snapped the toilet seat on top and she's ready. Grabbed a grocery bag and held it to my face.

    1812 Overture!

Cannon fire. Simultaneous cannon fire from both ends. For 3 days. Couldn't drive. If I could, I would have went to a motel. No longer had the strength to walk. Had to wait it out a couple days. For those unexpected emergencies, that bucket is hard to beat.
