Mavericks how many of u getting this. They seem to come up with more reasons not to pay any more. I get a load that I can make delivery on Friday but they set it for Monday delivery. I am told to go home with a load 250 miles out of route so they don't pay and those miles are out of route no pay for them and counts against bonus pay. I have a Friday delivery that csr forgot to get a load appointment for so have to wait till Monday to unload so again they won't pay Just seems they no longer are willing to make sure driver is taken care of like they used to

These are disadvantages to working for a carrier that is not thru your house regularly.......

dispatchers/planners and CSR's are concerned for the well-being of their customer....Unfortunately

They know drivers quit all the time and dont really care anymore.

Did you try to call the consignee directly to see if they had a 30 minute slot open? it only takes a few minutes to unload

They would only unload with load appointment number and I guess the next opening was Monday if csr had called two days earlier I am sure I would not be sitting on this load all weekend away from home and with no extra pay

well your getting to go home for the weekend so why be upset about it . It does seem like tho since there sending you home for the weekend it would not go against any bonus pay

They act like there is nothing they can do. How about pay me I work for maverick not the shipper or receiver. Maverick should pay me what is fair. I did my part where is the pay. I am sure the csr got his check and went home for the weekend

You don't have to go home...they won't force you...

If the customer is willing to take the load on Friday...deliver it and get your weekend pay...but don't do that then turn around and complain about not getting home that weekend.

That said, those steel and glass deliveries and their "appointments" are total BS!

Another of the many reasons I stay in CNH division...almost all pickups and deliveries are open appointments...our only deadlines are on special moves (prototypes, test machines) and the occasional hot load to the port that is in danger of missing its boat....other than those, we pickup and deliver whenever we get there.

If they tell u to go home they won't pay weekend miles if u decide to stay out. If u run home they don't pay those miles out of route and out of route takes away from PFP bonus so stay out with no pay to keep PFP bonus or go home and counts against u

I delivered a Monday appointment on Friday was hung out empty then they would not pay me the 800 because they said it was scheduled for Monday so not true about delivering on Friday to try to get both

When did they start that? Didn't used to be that way...sounds like an @$$hole FM to me...padding their numbers at your expense...but I could be wrong.

I believe I'd get out of whatever division you're in and go to LNG...might be a better fit for you.
