Robert was a family friend...him and his family are friends of ours....

he was at the hosp. this am when i was at the hosp for my MRI....before they airlifted him to Lubbock...

they are saying in the article, that driver fatigue and inattentiveness are factors for the trucker hitting Robert...i know that news reports are not always accurate...but if this is true...i hope they hang him.....he took a life, from his foolishness....there is NO excuse for driving tired, let this article serve as a wake up call for newbies....

Robert leaves behind a wife and 2 grown kids. (son and daughter) his soon to be son in law was also in the accident, but was alrdy released from the hospital....

another friend of ours came upon the accident just minutes after it happened, the cops werent even there yet...she was headed to Artesia....she saw the wreckage..and what was left of Roberts pick up...but at THAT time, didnt know it was him..(she is friends with him and his family as well)....

awake.....trying to get my mind distracted....just so sad and angry from this...

this is part of what i posted on my FB page yesterday:

ok....i just saw this man and his family lastnight and talked with them. (thursday night the 23rd)...things can and do change so fast.....dont take your loved ones for granted, you can lose them in the twinkling of an eye....then its too late for im sorry's or i love you's.....hold them close to you, let them know you love them...before its too late

tinytim and Mr Ed Thank this.
