Truck Parking in Merced Ca

Man, I'm from Merced. Not there now. Try In & Out burger there's a little lot there. Plus there's a kmart across the street but neighbor hood isn't the greatest. I uses to drop my trailer empty, pass the old Budweiser plant near the frontage road around no businesses. Seen other drivers do this too. Lock my kingpin and bobtail to my house.

 

I was lucky, I lived in the apts across from Merced high, there was a dirt lot across from Carls Jr I could park on the street there and no one would care not even cops or meter maid. I could park with my trailer there. Also I've seen people park at in shape gym parking lot not in front but off to the side. Probably can park in the rear too. It was a grocery store turned to a gym. So I'm sure there's not traffic around there. Scope it out next time your home.

 

the dirt lot across from Merced High was the second place I went and while there were a bunch of trucks parked there, signs were posted "No Truck Parking" plus there were no truck signs on the road. It makes me uneasy. I really just need to get my Jeep to my terminal, even though it's in Lathrop, but this is my first home time since training. I've been getting burned out even though I love the job.

 

This should help... There is a Commercial Truck Parking Lot at 250 Riggs Ave in Merced. You can in fact park your car there (at your own risk) so that when you get back no one needs to come pick you up. This is not a truck stop and it is not a secure drop yard, but I think this might be what you were looking for.
