2. If "owning" is the best way then why does any trucking company want you to own or lease when they should want to to the "best"?

As far as the no-failure mentor is concerned, 4 out of 5 will not make it to the end of their first lease, with the majority falling out in their first year. The deck is stacked against newbs starting right after TnT, and that's why I recommend a couple years on the company side to get trucking figured out and amass a good cash position to keep you afloat during the hard times.

I don't claim to be an expert raceready... but I've started enough businesses to know how to do that and succeed. The lease failure rate is quite similar to the general failure rate of new small businesses on a yearly basis that one can conclude that leasing a truck (as a business) works the same way. You have one chance in five of succeeding. Good luck, and don't complain in the "bad companies" folder about how Prime screwed you. IMO, you're well on the way to doing that yourself.

Ok so...at the end of the lease you have a option to purchase. Instead of spending the payout like you idiots do you sign the check right to prime. 2. If you own your truck you can go on primes load board thru there broker and get loads like that. Does that answer your ####### questions. 3 dont quote the bible.
