To anyone reading this post. I asked a simple question about a urine test. I am and stand rasta. They fought me down because im going lease. I just want to know if they can do it why cant I? What makes them better I have 2500 saved in capital. My biggest overhead is fuel then tires then maintenance also tolls. Sitting cost me money. So like I said if they can do it why cant I? What makes dem better? If I go over on fuel its on me. If I bust a tire its on me. Thats why I pay myself last. I put up money just for that. Just for when im broke down on the side of the highway. Or waiting to get a load or I get stuck and gotta pay for tow. So once again what makes them better?

 

Brother read the other lease threads. People are trying to prevent a newbie from making a mistake. Save your capital. Until you have more my friend. It's not about you being a rasta. It's about you being a human being who is about to sign your life away like a share cropper and receive very little in return. Most of the guys who make it have to train people or run team. You have hours of service regulations that mess up your running time. You have a better chance of succeeding when you know what cards you are being dealt. Learn to crawl before you run off in a marathon. Prime has made its money off selling people this dream. Guess what it takes a lot of sacrifice. Going slow so you don't see your money going out the exhaust pipes. I have 16,000 miles on this new truck I have and it already has a check engine light. Truck is running great and probably just need to get on a computer to clear the code. Brother when you have a negative check you don't get paid at all. Please read some of the ACT, JCT, Trans-Am AND other Prime threads. This is not about you. It's about trucking companies getting newbies to rent a job. You have very little say so my friend. Yes you can reject a load, but you don't know how they will treat you if you do so. Look at the experience of the guys who are telling you to take your time. I promise you. You will be better off.

 

Will do...I mentioned rasta because we burn the herb like some people drink beer. That was months ago. But thank you tho first positive thing ive heard. Thnks.

 

I know about those rasta's I just hope you don't plan on continuing the burn the herb, because the Department of Transportation doesn't care about your religious persuasion when it comes to random drug testing, and as some have said you can be tested. Once every other week. Or once in 3 or 4 years. But of course you do get tested every time you renew your medical card, and your cdl is pretty much useless if you ever get caught. Just saying that to help prevent future temptations.
