    I have a scheduled phone interview tomorrow, and assuming it goes right, will I get a formal offer at that time? Main question is- IF i am (offered job tomorrow) what is the usual time frame you are scheduled to go to orientation? (couple days? a week? longer?) Im just wondering if i'll have any time to get my affairs in order before I have to leave, or if there's any "room" to move the start date im given?

    You can (within reason) choose your start date. You can tell the recruiter when you'd like to start and they'll do what they can to accommodate. If that class is allready full then they'll push you off a week.

    Should be quick, they run classes every week. Mine wasn't even close to full and if I remember the van side wasn't either. Course that's been a while ago.

    I did my phone interview 2 mondays ago and was in orientation last monday. Did physical the next day.

    Just be careful what you tell health ppl about your past medical. Anything you tell them has to be on physical exactly like you tell them or they make you get it changed. Cost me a day of running around cause of that.

    My class was full. Took three 12 hour days of cramming to get through. Hope yours is quicker.

    Of course by now you've already done phone interview so i probably typed this for no reason. Lol.
