American Central Transport The No Bs Thread 8000 series lease!

I don't sugar coat things. Anyone who knows me knows that. I made ALOT of money with ACT and left for personal reasons. I start back Monday and will be doing the new 8000 series lease. If im happy ill post about it, if im unhappy ill post about it. If you want to come to work here there is no one here that will shoot it to you straighter than me. I know how to make the most money possible at act. I also know how to make people not like you by doing just that thing. I will guide you step by step on how I made $225,000 in 2012 gross at act and brought home $120k of that money and put it in my bank account. Can you expect to make that kind of money.....HELL NO.... but you can expect to make a #### good living if you will run your business like a pro. There are lots of other companies out there that pay better than act sure, but there are pros and cons to everyone of them. Stop worrying so much about what a company does and start paying attention to what YOU do. Now lets let the fun begin.....

Wanna learn how to get 9mpg. Im your guy. And no its not just running slow peeps. And before any of you say it it aint being load specific or paying off dispatchers and planners......if you only knew how much they hated me.....like I said I tell it like it is....

That's true Bk. They have no idea how much time and effort we put into getting those kind of numbers. Shifting patterns and tire pressure and having the right tires and correct fifth wheel position and on and on and on. But we didn't do it for anybody but ourselves. They are all concerned with what someone else was doing when they needed to be focused on what THEY were doing. There is no golden ticket to making great money. The load planners wont even talk to drivers much less give them preferential treatment. Even as much ##### as someone we all know tried to kiss even HE didn't get it. Look ACT has a good lp program. Better than prob 90% of other companies. A driver CAN make great money. But if you don't know how to run a business or are willing to put in the effort then all I can say is we also hire company drivers. lol.

 

Well looks like im gonna be leasing on as an o/o. Got approved to but a truck through select trucks in kc. Not as new but no dpf filter. Don't know how it will all work out but will keep you updated. Here goes nothing

 

Well I start orientation tomorrow. Denver got their ##### kicked. Will keep you updated on my progress.

 

So I am thinking about buying a bunk heater. Any suggestions? Esbar is a good one I know. I want an apu but don't have an extra 10k, thoughts?
