    I think you were looking at where the truck stopped not where it had been. Did you look at the tracks in the dirt compared to the tripod? I would say not over dramatic. I would not have wanted to be that close.

    Classic iced over roads (freezing rain setup) that is mostly seen in the south leaves roads in a condition that requires PERFECT momentum maintenance, no positive excess torque, no excess negative torque, no quick braking or accelerating, no quick turning, no mistakes, period. You can lose it at 15 MPH as easy as at 35 MPH. All it takes is one teeny, tiny "mistake" in one instant. No doubt the driver was "distracted" by all the commotion and may have wandered a bit in the roadway and tried to correct.

    Slick snow is very forgiving compared to a 1/4 inch of frozen rain buildup
