    Hey v6! I just picked up a 2009 volvo 780. I have been reading your posts about the egr block off and now the tune you said you were gonna get. I was wondering how is it working out for you? I am looking to do the same to mine! Do you have any advice that might help me out?

    After I had my ECM flashed, at first I thought that nothing had changed, when I started pulling heavy loads that day I noticed the hp difference. It pulled hard, some hills I would have to down shift to 9th now it pulls it up I tenth gear. On a 40k load. I pick up about .7 to 1.3 increase mileage overall.

    ask lots of question, they are one of a fiue verdors that know the Volvo motors and have all the fuel maps for all the ECM Versions

    Thanks for the info and the quick response v6! Is it necessary to physically block of the egr or can they turn it off? (for off road use)

    They cant turn off the EGR completely, they can keep them from recycling.
