A few posts ago you and I were nice and now you want to go and insinuate there have been assaults on here and that I'm acting like a kid...Which is it.I'll tell you like I've told you several times already....The original poster didn't ask his question in a way that excluded anyone from registering opinions. The assaults have been 50/50 all the way along between those for and against Volvo/Largecars.Don't start getting all teary eyed and getting all mushy on me this late in the game,go review the posts. -
Brick, I actually love the Cat3406E and the T6 as both are winning combo. Now you say, how does this wannabe know? I have friends who have been in the industry for 25 years, and 40 years. They may be on here. One drives for KAG out of Cape Caneveral and the other is a o/o for them.
Do not get me wrong, I love the Paccar products like any other die hard guy. How about the Swedish truck test. Can a Pete or KW pass that?

I don't know what series or set up yellow motors your fleet runs .Red motors are good motors too.The ONLY bad I know at all about them is a lot of people have trouble with them after a major as far as mains and such.I 'm really not sure why.You don't seem to have that prob with C series on up Cats because of the larger mains.Of course it could be the shops around here too.Not sure. -

D16 said: ↑Sorry Brickman I have to dissapoint you.Volvo shell (cab and sleeper)made from steel that's why it's so heavy, but it's save.Even doors are made from steel compare to plastic doors in Peterbilts and Kenworth's.BTW never seen Volvo exploded into lots of pieces after wreck, usually cab and sleeper still in good shape.

All the Volvos I've been around, (learned to drive on one) the entire shell was fiberglass.
As for plastic doors on my KW.
ONLY the interior panel could be considered plastic. The frame is metal and the exterior shell is aluminum. -

Sir I'm afraid you don't know what plastic is. Either that or you don't know what model of truck you had.
The T2000 are a bunch of junk from what I've heard from good friends that drove them. I've never owned one.
And you cannot go find a T6, T8, or a W9 with plastic doors! Only the inner panel is plastic.

Like I posted earlier all the trucks shells will melt in a fire. Even your beloved Volvo.Click to expand...
