Schneider Bulk I/C's

    Hi all, I asked for answers about the above indicated topic some months ago in hopes to find out more info before I took the plunge there. There weren't many responses so I decided to give it a shot and see for myself if it was indeed worthwhile. I started 12/13 in Green Bay with Schneider Finance and picking up my trk. I am an experienced bulk operator so I know what pulling a tanker is about.
    I'm not going to give a step by step guide to those who want to know more. There are quite a few issues on the bulk side contractor wise.
    After some deep and careful thought about the issues there, I decided that someone needs to speak out. I'm not quite ready to blast them out on this forum but I will entertain questions via pm about bulk I/C's.
    I also ask any other bulk I/C to pm me so I can be sure I'm not the only one that acknowledges these issues.
    To clarify, I'm not saying that this is a ripoff or can't be done, quite the contrary, it is doable but there are some glaring issues that need fixing for the program to attract others. I say that because it would be hard for me to push the program to others looking to get in and if things don't change SOON, I too will take my skills elsewhere .In addition regarding schneider Finance, nothing really negative to say about them at this point.
    As some others here have said, they appear to really want you to succeed.
    I don't know if I can help you if you have limited experience but this is an open invitation to those looking who are serious about schneider bulk.

    If I might suggest something. Put your issues out there so others now and in the future can read and decide for themselves. I for one would love to hear what it's like over on the I/c side.

    Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not ready to do anything like this anytime soon, but, can you bring your own truck into Schneiders IC program for van and bulk, or do you gotta go through their lease program? Do they have requirements for the truck? Like year, emission systems, horsepower/tq, etc?

    On the bulk side I would bet on tare weight of tractor as well as pump and compressor being a requirement ....

    On the van side you can bring your own truck and there are requirements, max weight, length, and age.

    Like I told ethos, right now with only 40+ contractors on the bulk side and me seeming to be the only one with eyes open, blasting them openly isn't a good thing. If you look back thru the forum as I have, you don't find a whole lot good or bad about this subject. I have requested a meeting with the bulk operations manager and depending on that outcome, we will see.

    Sitting here in Gary with a broken truck and just watched a bulk I/C pull in. Maroon Volvo I believe

    I have only seen 4 other than myself. Been told officially that we have 44.
